Ignis the Furnace Master
Method: Hold and Burn
This is a DPS race with Ignis is tanked in the water, and constructs ignored by the DPS.
Roles
Main Tank
The main tank will pull Ignis and tank him in the water. Ignis should be faced away from the raid so that Scorches are automatically extinguished.
Off-Tank
The off-tank will kite the constructs away from the raid throughout the duration of the fight.
Healers
The healers should stand within range of the main tank and the off-tank's kiting path. Main tank healing needs to be aware that the damage done to the main tank will increase by 15% for each construct that is active.
DPS
DPS should stand directly behind Ignis and go all out once the main tank has established aggro. Cooldowns should be blown immediately once the main tank establishes aggro. You may want to wait until after the first Flame Jets. The fight should last around 4 to 5 minutes, allowing DPS to blow their shorter cooldowns a second time before the fight ends.
Primary Abilities
Flame Jets
All casters need to stop casting; if you are in the middle of a cast when Flame Jets goes off, you will be locked out of spell casting for 8 seconds. Deadly Boss Mods should throw a "Jets - Stop Casting" alert on your screen.
Slag Pot
(Instant) Charges and grabs a random player, tossing them into the caster's slag pot. The target is unable to attack the caster and takes 3500 Fire damage every second for 10 sec. If the target survives, they are imbued with the magical slag, increasing their haste by 100% for 10 seconds.
Other Abilities
Activate Construct
(1 sec cast) Fires a bolt of magma at a random deactivated Iron Construct, activating it and causing it to defend the caster.
Strength of the Creator
Damage increased by 15%. (This is the buff placed on Ignis for each active golem)
Scorch
(Instant) Fires a jet of flame, burning all enemies in front of the caster within 30 yards, dealing 2357 to 2643 Fire damage every half-second for 3 sec. Additionally, the ground is scorched by this effect causing it to catch on fire, dealing 3299 to 3701 Fire damage every second to all enemies within 13 yards. Iron Constructs within this radius will begin to heat up, eventually becoming molten.
