In the real world my name is Carl Grasso. I live in the northern end of Vermont, nearly on the shore of Lake Champlain.

My current character is Yorthae, a female Blood Elf Mage. I started playing World of Warcraft in the spring of 2007, on the Alliance side of the Hellscream server. I was strongarmed into playing by a few friends and nearly instantly became hooked. My first character was a Gnome Warlock by the name of Hoodornament. After a variety of experiences I gave Horde a try, playing a Troll Rogue named Iani... and then went back to the Alliance because I missed my friends and gave a Night Elf Rogue named Hould a try. To make a long story short, I hate the Alliance side of the game. I leveled Hould up to 70 and turned my back on the Alliance for the last time. This time around I made a Blood Elf Mage named Houldlum and even pulled some of my Alliance friends over to the Horde side on Hellscream for some fun. This lasted nearly a year, but I craved more. The pug situation on Hellscream was painful at best. After listening to the Instance Podcast I felt that the community that is AIE was for me and I transferred Houldum over and renamed her Yorthae.

At the time of this writing I've only been in the Guild for a few weeks and have had little time to play. I'm hoping to make some new friends, get into a regular instance group, eventually I'd like to raid and see as much endgame content as I can.

A bit about myself: I work for Small Dog Electronics, slowly training to be a repair technician. I went to school for psychology and was in the process of applying for Graduate/Ph.D. programs in School Psychology when I realized I really didn't want to do that kind of work. I'm also a practicing Buddhist, camping enthusiast, sci-fi geek, music lover (of all kinds), among other things.
