Ahoy! Centered Text, anyone?

Ishtuk may or may not have a plethora of names. Justin might be a name he carries by birth, Wags one gained by Theatre, Wiggles by stories too long to recount; but what did Romeo & Juliet teach us about names? That teenagers should never be sold poison or weapons- what the hell were those adults in Italy thinking?

Howdy, I'm Ishtuk. I like things. Do you like things? Do you like things in preference to or (better yet) to the discrimination of other things? Then we could probably be friends! But this is the internet, so we could just as likely end up Trolling each other until the Apocalypse. Anyway I try to be funny so that you can point & laugh. I have my opinions the same as you have yours & hope that at the least we can agree to see things differently yet still get along great. I'm now going to use some sentences to describe some of the previously mentioned things that I like.

Exercise

Yup. I like to work out a lot & by that I don't mean just go & lift weights while grunting into the mirror. What I mean is that I like physical activity like running, climbing, hiking, swimming & yes lifting weights. More importantly however, I enjoy martial arts. Specifically Okinawan style arts such as Aikido, Kempo, Judo, & Ninjitsu. I hope to one day open my own school where I can teach people the importance of assisting their community & inviting them to help me in service projects for the surrounding area. I would like to either teach Ninjitsu & Ryukyu Kempo or develop my own style out of my experiences. I also enjoy dance such as ballet, tap, jazz, and modern. I took two & one-half years of dance while in college & greatly enjoyed it.

Music

Music has an incredible impact on what I do & how I've shaped my values. While I'll listen to most bands & musical acts on an individual basis I'm in general not fond of most things played on Billboard 40 & Pop Hits radio stations. I perform music sometimes while playing Bass Guitar & singing occasionally. Currently I'm working on recording my own music for a Surf Punk side-project. I also love going to live shows & seeing bands perform, in fact I used to book bands regularly from all across the country. Most were local Texas acts but it was common for me to pull bands from Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Missouri, and Arkansas to say a few. My favorite genres of music are Ska- which includes what most people would call Reggae, Rock Steady, Bebop, Island Music; Punk- most of it's variations I enjoy but again: if it's played on the radio it's probably not what I'm talking about; Folk- Things like the Jersey Sound from New England & Bluegrass. Some examples from those genres that I feel accurately portray what I mean are: Streetlight Manifesto, Bomb The Music Industry!, The Aggrolites, Operation Ivy, The Gaslight Anthem, The Queers, The Ergs!, Against Me! & Shang-A-Lang. But really, I could list for days & the only thing that it would really boil down to is this: Feel free to look them up, but do your own music research, like what you like.

The Lady

I'm engaged & I love her! I don't know how to post pictures or my ugly mug & her face would be up here somewhere but rest assured, I have a looker who is more than willing to play D&D with me, listen to music, or listen to me make up bed-time stories for her. We'll be married in May of 2010 which gives her enough time to finish school & become a licensed Cosmetologist.

Homestar

I'm going to take this time to say that *I* have a Strong Bad Email! You guys can keep your LOLCATS & whathaveyous. I, I have a Strong Bad Email. It's called Bedtime Story, number 137 to be exact. It's enjoyable at least, maybe you can use it to pick up dates. "Yeah baby, I totally know this guy who has a SBemail, you & I should get food." I'm working wonders for all your night-lives, Internet. You're welcome.
