'The Toxic Avengers

Intro

Rising from the aftermath of toxic tragedy, a new team of superheroes is born to fight the evil of Arthas and injustice. Though we may appear different than your average superhero, rest assured with us, everyday is a fun adventure (censorship at your discretion). Be you green, blue, lightly decomposed due to the reactor leak in our home town of Tromaville, or just like to wear Kabuki masks; everyone is welcome to join.

The Toxic Avengers is a 25-player casual raiding group in the Alea Iacta Est guild on the Earthen Ring server for World of Warcraft. We are here to have fun, interact with each other, learn our characters and roles in a group and to earn epic gear.

Raiding Schedule

Our first raid is Saturday night, October 17, 2009 at 8:00 PM!

Progression

Currently in Naxxramas.

Loot

Loot is distributed via a low roll scheme.

Members have a choice to roll on any piece that they like for either of their raid-specs (see Raid Team Roles for info).

  • Primary Rollers - If a member has not yet received a raid-spec piece that evening they may /roll 100.
  • Secondary Rollers - If that member has already received a raid-spec piece that evening they must /roll 200.
  • If no members have chosen to roll, then anyone may /roll 100 for a PVP/3rd spec.
  • If absolutely nobody wants the item, then it is passed to our Disenchanter for rolling at the end of the evening.

The purpose of this system of to do all rolls at once, thus cutting loot time in half. This promotes a fair & random element for members to gear up, by making it half as likely for Secondary Rollers to win the low roll, and avoids discouraging them from leaving.

Addons

The following addons are highly recommended for coordination in the raid group.

  • GroupCalendar5
  • Omen
  • Outfitter
  • PallyPower (Required for Paladins)
  • SimpleRaidTargetIcons
