We are looking for members at around Tier 9 or are geared for ToC 10 Content or better.  We are working on progression so as long as you are progressing you are in good company.  Because of the nature of our group we raid very late in the week. So that alt members can raid with other groups should the opportunity arise we will send out invites on a rotating schedule via the in game guild calendar. These invites will not secure a spot that week; but should a member be unable to attend those alts will receive the first invites before we use AIELFG to fill the spot or go to other alts.

Who We Are

The Weekend Warriors first formed in Novemeber of '09. Because of other commitments and a rotating cast of members the group fell apart. In December a few of the original members decided to try and Reboot the team and keep our merry band together. We are a casual group. We wish to see as much of end game as possible. Weekends are the best time (and for some the only time) we have to raid hence the name. Our goals are to finish ICC and defeat Arthas before the next expansion. After our successful clear of ToC 10 on 2/5/10 and subsequent success in Ony 10, we are focusing on clearing Ony 10 on Fridays. After Ony 10 we plan to use the rest of our Friday night raid time as ICC progression. On Saturdays we will focus on ICC 10 progression. If we hit a progression wall on Saturdays we plan to do ToC 10 or VOA.

As of February 12, 2010 we are officially an ICC Content only Raid Team.

Recruiting

We have our main roster filled. We are not currently recruiting new members for our core 10. We are looking for a regular DPS alt that has a second ICC raid ready Tank or Healing off spec. Our alts see regular play because of the nature of our group. If you are interested in being an alt you can checkout our official thread in the AIE Raiding Forum for the latest information on Recruiting.

Loot Rules

We roll first for main spec. If no one rolls on main spec we roll for off spec. If no off spec we shard the purples and roll on the shards at the end of that nights raid.

Other Important Tips for Raiding with WW

1) Bring the flasks you need--fish feasts will be provided.
2) Check out the fights. Tankspot and Wowiki have great boss strats. No one can be expected to know everything; but giving the videos and strats a one over doesn't hurt.
3) Invites will go out at 8:45. There is a 5 minute grace period. By 9:05 we will begin looking to fill your spot unless you notify us before the raid that you will be late.
4) Communication. Speak up if you see a way to improve the raid. If you don't know a fight it is ok to ask for a boss strat. We can't fix what we don't know is broken. So if something is bothering you or you think some things need to changed please give voice to that. Any group (raiding or otherwise) can only succeed if we are all on the same page.
5) Lastly and most importantly. Bring your fun hats. We are all here to see as much content as possible and to have fun. Lets remember that.

Progression

Week 1 ToC Cleared to faction champions.
Week 2 ToC Finished clearing all of ToC on Saturday January 30, 2010
Week 3 ToC Cleared all of ToC on Friday February 5, 2010. Cleared Ony 10 and started on ICC 10.
Week 4 Cleared Ony 10 on and defeated Lord Marrowgar February 12, 2010.
Week 5 Cleared Ony 10 on February 19, 2010. Defeated Lord Marrowgar on Saturday February 20, 2010.
Week 6 Cleared Ony 10 on February 26, 2010. Went into ICC and defeated Marrowgar, Lady Deathwhisper, and The Gunship battle. Attempted to defeat Deathbringer Saurfang.
Week 7 Cleared Ony 10 on March 5, 2010. Defeated Marrowgar, Lady DeathWhisper, and The Gunship Battle. Also successfully completed our first raid weekly Deprogramming. Attempted to defeat Deathbringer Saurfang.
Week 8 Cleared Ony 10, Marrowgar, Lady Deathwhisper, and The Gunship battle on March 12, 2010. Did no progression raiding on March 12, 2010.
Week 9 Cleared Ony 10 and the first wing of ICC, and Sister Svalna on March 19, 2010. We downed Deathbringer Saurfang for the first time and earned the achievement Storming The Citadel as well as the achievement I've Gone and Made a Mess. On March 20, 2010 we finished our 2nd weekly ICC raid Residue Rendezvous and we downed Festergut.
Week 10 Cleared first 4 bosses in ICC and Sister Svalna on March 26, 2010. We earned the achievement Boned on Marrowgar and one shotted the Deathbringer. Took down Festergut on March 27, 2010 and had our first look at Rotface getting him to 50% on our last attempt.
Week 11 No Progression of note because of the Easter Holiday. Cleared first wing, Sister Svalna and Festergut.
Week 12 Friday 4/11/10 Business as usual. Cleared first 4 bosses. Took down Festergut. Pretty typical first night. Oh yea and we earned the Achievement I'm On A Boat. And just because Rotface was complaining about his dog we kicked his but too. 6 Bosses. 6 DPS. 2 Healers. 2 Tanks. 1 great night for 1 hell of a team. Spent the raid time on 4/10/10 on Professor Putricide. Extended the raid lockout for the first time.
Week 13 Killed Professor Putricide and earned the Achievement The Plagueworks. Tried a few attempts at the Dreamwalker fight healing her to 64%.
Week 14 We cleared the Lower Spire and the Plagueworks. We showed progression on the Dreamwalker fight healing her to 84%. We extended our ICC lockout.

Gear Requirements And Alt Policy

We are looking for members that are geared for ICC 10 Content.
