History
<The Game is Afoot> is part of the Alea Iacta Est Gravitas sub-guild. Its mission is to complete all end-game raid content in a fun, mature environment. Crafting legendary items and earning raid achievements is also a side mission of the team.
The team was founded by Sunbendyr in late April of 2011 under the name <To The Pain>, from the ashes of the Achievementality 25 man raid team. Its name is taken from a line in the 1987 fantasy comedy, The Princess Bride. The team has had several roster, leader and name changes over the existance of the team. It started under the leadership of Sunbendyr for tier 11, 12, and half of Tier 13. After stepping down, Verethrine leads for a very brief time before Eorae takes over leadership.
