"Revenge of the Noobs!"

"Revenge of the Noobs!" is a team for people who've wanted to get into raiding, but haven't felt they were able to. Founder Grymnar has, while doing time on other servers, spent a great deal of time looking for PuGs or even guild groups, and had experienced a great deal of frustration by being told "no experience, no invite," or the infamous "no achieve, no invite." Similar to a college graduate staring at the classifieds he thought, "How do I get experience, if no one will give me a chance." The answer: Revenge of the Noobs.

Follow our adventures here: A Noob's Tale

Raiding Schedule

Friday Nights: 10:00 PM Server - 1:30am Server Saturday Nights: 9:00 PM Server - 12:30+ PM Server Sundays*: 7:00 PM - 10:30 Server

  • = Fridays and Saturdays are for progression, if enough from the saved progression raid show up sunday we will continue with progression raiding, otherwise it will be for just whatever we can do to build team cohesivity.

Gear Requirements

The goal of -Revenge of the Noobs,- is to learn the raids, socialize and most importantly have fun! However, it isn't the intent of the raid leader to allow a player to bring the rest of the raid down. Ideally, your character's "optimal content" yellow bar at, or just below the content for which we are attempting to raid. It is one hundred percent possible to get online and chain heroics to get the emblems necessary for a 4 piece set of T9, so gearing to a point to run Ulduar and even early ToC isn't difficult, it's just a matter of dedicating the time, and this is the primary gear requirement of This is What it Sounds Like, When Noobs Die. (side note: we need a nickname...) In order to check your gear status and IMPORTANT: corrent issues such as missing enchants, improper enchants etc, please check the following: [11]

Perky Pug is also required to be out at all times while raiding. Perky is infamous for boosting DPS, and providing an near bloodlust like buff to the raid team. Raid members without Perky pug are expected to be actively working on obtaining this non-combat companion. (The companion is awarded to those who have randomly grouped with 100 different players for random dungeons)

Required Add-Ons

Please install and enable Deadly Boss Mods, and Omen Threat Meter. Task-specific mods like Omni-CC and Decursive are highly recommended.
