Who

Nipple and Star (is a casual 10-Man Raiding group, initially formed by Dreadknotty. Roebeast currently does the run invites. We have no real head, each of us has an equal voice on how the group runs and what we are doing.

We're named after two of the raid markers.

We are also a casual group, meaning that we're not hardcore about progression. If it takes several weeks to down a boss then it takes several weeks, we're in it to have fun playing together. There are also weeks where we're not able to fill the group for a qualified Raid so we settle for filling two 5-mans for Heroics, and we don't mind this. We're serious players of our classes, but we're also serious fun seekers over hardcore this-game-is-my-life style of Raiding.

When

We are currently on hiatus, planning on returning after the next major patch or possibly reinventing ourselves in Star Wars: The Old Republic

Loot

We use Need or Greed for loot. You get to roll Need if it's for your main spec, Greed for your off spec. If you can't use it you don't get to roll, if everyone passes we roll 1-100 (low roll wins) and they get either the item or the shard. If there is any loot abuse, Yorthae takes over as a grumpy loot master and things get complicated.

Progression

Nipple and Star has successfully completed all regular 10 man Wrath of The Lich King raid content. We also obtained the "Undying" achievement in Naxx and all the hard modes in Ulduar. See the AIE Raiding Progression page to follow our progress in Cataclysm.
