About

Night Moves (NM) is a casual (yes, we are really casual) raid team that focuses on 5 and 10-player content.

A typical NM team member has many RL responsibilities, and uses WoW as a break to goof around and have fun. We do not focus on progression, but rather allow progression to evolve with us. We take the approach of "no Horde left behind," meaning that if a team member wants to experience some low-level content, we add it to our schedule.

Schedule

We will organize two nights a week, for two hours per run. Exceptions to run after the designated finish time will be made only with a unanimous vote from the current group participants.

Night Start (PST) End (PST) Start (Server/EST) End (Server/EST)
1 Monday 10:00pm Tuesday 12:00am Tuesday 1:00am Tuesday 3:00am
2 Thursday 10:00pm Friday 12:00am Friday 1:00am Friday 3:00am

Loot

Master Looter will be used for all raids for epic-level (and above) gear. Any team member of the current raid is eligible to receive an item as long as one of the two following criteria are met:

  • You have not already won an item for the current night's raid
  • The item in question is an upgrade for your current or off-spec, and nobody else in the raid wants the item

The in-game need/greed roll will be utilized for any 5-man content. Participants are asked to pass on an item if it is not usable by him or her whatsoever.

Alts

NM strives to be an extremely alt-friendly group. NM team members are encouraged to bring alts to scheduled events, with the following provisions:

  • The player is willing to stay on the alt for the duration of the event
  • The alt character is appropriately geared for the event

The same loot rules apply for alts, and alts have an equal chance at gear regardless of the presence of any mains. The same holds true for alts/mains participating in a dungeon or raid in their off-spec.

For example, if an item drops that both a main and an alt can use for their main spec, both are allowed to roll on said item.

We will be starting off with 5-man instances until we can gather enough troops and interest for 10-man raids.
