What is Mostly Harmless

Mostly Harmless is a casual raid group comprised of patient and understanding people who want to make sure that they see all end game content, but are doing it at a more leisurely pace than some other groups. We know our specs, understand gear requirements, but for a variety of reasons (Family, work, general scheduling conflicts) may have had trouble finding a place in other raid groups.

We welcome players who have been raiding for the last four years, as well as people who have never stepped foot in a raid.

News

Well, the only news right now is that I am getting around to updating this Wiki page, so if everything looks disorganized, it is because I am trying to do a little every day. This will be the place to post photos and update as to what is happening with the group as a whole.

Attendance

We will accept any number of people who are willing to put themselves on our list of alternates, but we would like to have a solid group of people that can attend most Saturdays.

If you cannot make a certain week, please try as hard as you can to give notice to the raid managers.

Loot

Master Loot

The loot distribution is Master Loot system. The way loot will work is any on-spec will roll first. This means that if loot drops and it is gear that is an upgrade for your current spec then you will able to roll for the loot. If there are no on-spec rolls then we will roll for off-spec. If the gear is not an upgrade for you current spec but is an upgrade for an off-spec (IE solo set) then you will have the option of rolling for the loot. Finally, if there are no on-spec or off-spec rolls then the loot will be disenchanted. To save time, all shards will be rolled for at the end of the night's raid. If there are, for example, one abyss crystal and four dream shards, the top roll will get the abyss crystal and the next four rolls will get a dream shard.

Tier Tokens

You will only be awarded one tier token per week. If multiple tier tokens drop during the raid that you are eligible for AND you have already won a token earlier in the night then you will not be able to roll for additional tokens. There is one exception to this rule. Obviously unwanted tokens will not go to waste. If additional tokens drop and only one person can use them then that person will be awarded extra tokens.

Add-ons?

• Vent is required - you at least need to be able to listen

Raid Times?

All times are Server Time.

Saturday 10:00 am -

Be repaired, restocked and ready for a summons 15 minutes before the raid is scheduled to begin.

Raid Bank

The Raid bank is maintained on our collective bank alts. Everything in there is for the use of the team. You are not REQUIRED to contibute to the raid bank, but keep in mind that others are investing time and gold into making sure the group is ready to go, so please try to help out as best as you can and make sure you are not taking advantage of others generosity. Enchanting mats, gems and other items are used at a first come first serve basis. Items that are deposited in there that do not get used after a while will be sold and the proceeds deposited in the raid bank.

Gold in the raid bank is the one exception to the first come first serve rule. Gold is to be used for the purchase of elixir and food mats. Any other use needs to be approved by the rest of the group.

Goals

Have Fun! Beat down the baddies and get some LEWT!

Rules of the team

1. Be understanding – We are not holding ourselves out as the most experienced people in the game. We read as much as we can about our specs, know our rotations/priorities, but we are casual and are about having a good time first and foremost. If you notice someone consistently doing something wrong, try to privately help that person, don’t just blame it on them in vent or raid chat.

2. Be prepared – make sure you are repaired, have your ammo/buff food/pots/water etc… before our appointed meeting time.

3. Have fun!

    • This page is a work in progress, but not really in too much progress because I am too lazy to update it. It would be GREAT if someone in our group would take the reins and make it look as cool as some of the other teams pages. ***
