Gehenna Raiding Team

We are a 10 person raiding team on co-guild Fortuna. We consist of mostly real life friends from the San Francisco Bay Area, so our raiding times tend to be later for our East Coast server. Were committed to having a good time and making sure that Ceilla gets the blame for any screw ups. We are not "hardcore" but we are committed to progressing through content regardless of what our demeanor might suggest.

Our motto is that we don't progress to gear, we gear to progress.

Our progression is currently 9/12 with no current plans for Throne of Four Winds until we have completed the two major raids.

Loot Rules

Our loot rules are pretty standard to allow for anyone on our raids to have a chance for something.

BOP epic items are standard Need/Greed with the caveat that greed only be clicked if you will equip the item in your offspec.

Need- Main spec Greed- Off spec Pass- no use to me, dad.

In the event that no one rolls on an item, it will be manually dusted. Please do not use the automatic disenchant option.

Our current rule is one need per run with the exception that if no one is in your armor class you may roll again on something later.

BOE epic items are Need for main spec but anyone may greed for the item regardless of off spec.

Recruitment

See requirements and core list for details on how to join Gehenna Raiding Group (formerly known as Voluntary Torpor).

Our recruitment is currently closed, but we can always use subs for nights with absences. Apply Here!

Subs should be available for calendar invites. We will let you know in advance if there is room (about a week to a few days before hand) by tell or in game mail. Please promptly respond to the calendar invite, if you are issued one, so we know if we need to try someone else.

Subs will be given preference based on class needed, attendance and attitude.

If you decide you are interested in raiding with us please send a tell and we will try to fit you into one of our current raid nights. In game mails can be sent to Elritus, Azhull or Mantsee.

Requirements

Our main requirements to raid with us are as follows:

-We do NOT require you to have your talents set a specific way but if your
class has a healing spec you need to be specced for it.
-Equipped item level must be 350, for MS. (If heals is off spec it must
also be at requested item level.)
-Make sure your gear is properly gemmed, enchanted, etc. Were not sticklers
for what you put where but make sure it makes sense for your class.
-Be prepared for wipes and trial and error progress.
Were not breaking new ground but we are learning the fights through good
        old fashioned face grinding.
-We have a house alchemist so we will supply a cauldron at the beginning of raids.
If you can make the seafood feast please bring some along. (Donations for the cauldron are much appreciated.)
-Things get weird, there is a lot of crap talking (We are all real life friends, mostly)
so be prepared for that and lots of semi-naked orc lady dancing.
-We currently require no third party add-ons for raids, but please use any that will
        help you.
        DBM is highly recommended.
-Ventrilo is required and used liberally, mic is not necessary. We use our own server for
        raids we host.

Anyone wishing to join us for raids please send a tell or in game mail to any of the core group in game.

Elritus, Mantsee and Azhul are usually available to talk or answer any questions.
