Deja Noobs

Ooka Hozen Style is a casual, yet serious raiding team. We are all members of Alea Iacta Est on Earthen Ring.

We are a group dedicated to seeing content at our own pace, and enjoying each others company while doing so. We have not, and never will be, on the edge of the current tier of content. Given our raiding schedule, this isn't feasible. However, we are serious about putting our collective heads together to solve encounters, come up with strategies, and pwn bosses the OHS Way ™.

We are currently running Throne of Thunder.

Raid Requirements

Gear

• Although we aren't gear "elitists", we expect our members to have achieved an ilvl appropriate to the tier of content we are currently running, for the spec they will be playing.
• Gear is expected to be gemmed and enchanted as is appropriate for your spec. If you are unsure of how to optimize, use a resource like AskMrRobot to help you optimize.
• It is expected that all members will fully repair their gear prior to raid to avoid unnecessary repair interruptions during raid.

Add-Ons

• DBM/Big Wigs (or equivalent boss timer addon)
• Omen/Skada (or equivalent threat meter addon)

Other requirements

• We only raid for 2 1/2 hours a week so being on time is a must. Raid invites will start at 8:50.
• Unless prior arrangements have been made for you to be late, you will be replaced at 9:00. With prior arrangements, you will be given until 9:05 before being replaced. If you are replaced the person replacing you will not be asked, or expected, to relinquish his spot in the raid that night.
  
• Videos for the upcoming fights need to be watched. Only brief summaries of the fights will be given during raid time. If you are continually negligent on this, you will be replaced. We do not have the time to go into detailed explanations of each fight before each encounter.

OHS Drinking Game

• Take one sip anytime one of the following things happen:
  • Grindo dies for any reason
  • Asaphiry laughs at one of Amijade's double entendres in raid chat or references Ta-Tas
  • Suunami's push to talk makes the "bloop" noise
  • Amijade drops lock cookies during a pull
  • Siv refers to his genetalia in any fashion
  • Ashella's microphone is triggered by his loud keyboard
  • Anyone gets launched off the bridge by the roaming ghosts

• Take two sips anytime one of the following things happen:
  • The word "bule" is used
  • Claytons "oo's" over some item he got, only to explain "but I have better".
  • Amijade says "Hold still one sec" or makes an unintentional double entrendre
  • Smeghead tricks the wrong person and wipes us on pull
  • Asaphiry mentions Darth Vader, Illidain, or Squirrels

• Finish your drink/shot anytime one of the following happens:
  • Kurtcelos says anything in Mumble
  • Freegrazer completely ignores a suggestion by Siv
  • Claytons does NOT top the meters
