With the size and diversity of AIE, communication can be challenging and overwhelming at times. Here is an introduction to the important modes of communication within the guild.

Guild Chat

We refer to guild chat as the "Wall of Green". During peak hours, guild chat can be overwhelming. Many members confine it to its own tab or turn it off completely. It is important to think of guild chat as a public address system, not an intimate chat. There can be, literally, a couple hundred people reading what you type. Because of this, it is necessary for us to have a few restrictions on what is appropriate for guild chat.

You don't have to limit discussions in guild chat to only WoW-related topics. However if a certain discussion begins to monopolize guild chat, the officers may ask that the discussion be taken to the forums or a private channel.
