Raid Against the Machine

Raid Against the Machine is a new raid group forming up. We will be primarily tackling the new Firelands instance, but we won't shy away from T11 heroic modes either if the mood strikes us. I am hoping to gather some members who have a strong interest in fun and achieving a common goal.

We will not be a cutting edge raid group, going for server first kills and pushing every player to their limit. I am hoping to find some players with similar expectations and experience, which will lead into progress

Expectations:

- Researching the fights (Doing this just moves things along quicker, less explaining.)

- Keeping up with the forums. Strategizing and discussions between raid nights on the forums helps us progress faster and be as prepared as we can be for the next run. Everyones involvement in this is necessary.

- Knowing your class (You dont have to be on the bleeding edge of dps or healing, but you also need to be good enough to not be a detriment to the teams success)

- Allowing yourself and others to make a mistake and learn from it (No finger pointing, no bitching, we win as a team, we lose as a team)

Raid Times:

Tuesday & Thursday 10:30 - 12:30 Server time

Loot Rules:

Need before greed. DKP or a points system is unnecessary if the group understands the idea of Primary spec first, OS second. Use your best judgement is a good rule of thumb. If you already won a primary spec piece that run, and something else drops that is a primary spec upgrade for someone else as well as you but they havent gotten a piece that run, then the logical thing to do would be to let them have it.

Experience: Raid Leader back in Vanilla Molten Core, Blackwing Lair 40 man era - Was on a raid team with many server firsts during original Naxxramus era - Was a raid team member for WotLK killing all the raids up to and including the LK himself - Firelands currently 5 of 7
