We are a group of dedicated WoW players who want to help new level 80s learn their classes and roles in raids better.


One of the things I felt overwhelmed with when I leveled my hunter to 70 in the late stages of BC was that I didn't know who to ask about raiding and didn't know where to go, nor did I know anyone who could really help me learn my class. I was a little shy in my pursuit of asking people to help so I just resorted to the BGs and missed out on the fun of Kara and a lot of other things.
This "program" was created to help new level 80s find someone to talk to about their class easier than before.

1. Mentors are to obey the Alea Iacta Est guild code of conduct first and foremost.
2. Treat every person as if you would want to be treated.  A little kindness and humility goes a long way.
3. Respect everyone's opinions.  You can disagree with opinions, but always be constructive.  Teachers must know the topic and be able to constructively argue their points, otherwise your opinion isn't all that valuable.


Failure to abide by these rules will be handled by Modum first and the officers of AIE if their behavior is in direct conflict with the AIE code of conduct.

As a raid mentor you are responsible for the following...


1. Providing good advice to our new raiders about their specs, classes, and roles in raiding.
2. Helping new members find and/or create their own raiding groups.  This will be done on a C.A.R. Mentor team basis, regularly.
3. Being friendly and receptive to responding to in game whispers and forum pms.  (Of course, this assumes you are not in a raid or busy with some other activity at that given time.)
You are not responsible for...
1. Allowing new players to run with you and your group.
2. Running low level characters through instances.
