How to Join
Now that you have been accepted into the cabal, we of course want to extend an in-game invite to you as quickly as possible. Here's how to get that done:
- Login to The Secret World
- Type /chat join AIELFO (please capitalize AIELFO!) into your chat bar and ask for an invite. If you do not get a response right away, please be patient; the officers may be occupied. We will do our best to get to you as soon as possible.
- After you have been invited to the cabal, remember to /chat leave AIELFO so the officers can see who still needs help.

This is where you will find any important news and discussion regarding AIE in The Secret World and all the other games AIE is involved in. All members are encouraged to get involved in the community as a whole, organize in-game activities, etc. This is the place to do it.
Join us in Ventrilo voice chat
Ventrilo information is available within UMAMI. All members are welcome and encouraged to join us in the Agartha channel.
Use our AIE cross-faction chat channel
This is how we connect the Templar, Illuminati and Dragon cabals together, and is used in place of the standard cabal channel to facilitate communication between AIE members in all three cabals. (It's like our Greenwall in WoW.) Here is the easiest way to set it up:
- Use our AIE chat log-in script.
- This script automatically joins our cross-faction chat when you log in to The Secret World, and lists everyone currently in the channel.
- Simply download the zip file and extract the Scripts folder into your Funcom\The Secret World directory.
- You must exit The Secret World completely and restart the game before the script will work.
- If you have any issues with the auto-login script, you can join the AIE channel by simply typing /chat join AIE -- but if you use this method, please capitalize the AIE. Using lower-case (/chat join aie) causes a chat bug that requires everyone to redo their chat tab upon log-in.
- New members are more than welcome to join the AIE channel in the event that there is a wait on getting a cabal invite.
- We strongly recommend that you create new chat tab for AIELFO and AIE. Since all chat text is white, it is very easy to miss the chat as it scrolls by in the General tab. (Tabs turn red when there is a new text.)
