Welcome to Leatherworking

Thanks to wow-professions for their leveling guide. We have edited the guide specifically for the needs of the AIE Craft Faire. If you are leveling your profession on your own, you would do well to follow the original WoW-Professions guide linked above.

We will be located in the Walk of Elders (coords 84,80) right by the Leatherworking trainer in Silvermoon. Click for a map of all Craft Faire locations.

Please familiarize yourself with the policies of the AIE Craft Faire.

A Leatherworking team member will supply you with mats appropriate to your skill level and guide you through the skilling-up process. All of the items you craft will then be traded to Maridunum for disenchanting. The resulting mats will help the Craft Faire Enchanting team.

Want to gather your own mats? Consider combining Leatherworking with the Skinning profession. It is not required for the Craft Faire, but it is a big help going forward if you are able to gather your own leather. In addition to their excellent Leatherworking guide, which we use for the Craft Faire, WoW-Professions.com has an excellent skinning guide.

Yours truly,

Locke & Vikkela

Your Leatherworking & Skinning Team

Donations Appreciated

If you would like to donate mats for the Craft Faire, you may send all leather directly to Viklero and all Volatiles (Earth, Air, Fire, or Water) to Seriewa.

The Skinning/Leatherworking team maintains a spread sheet of donations in case you would like to see what mats we need the most.

Thank you in advance for your donations!

You will need to purchase: one leatherworking recipe that uses exotic leather, not prismatic scales (see below)

At 576 you must purchase a leatherworking pattern from Krogo Darkhide in the Shrine of Two Moons.

You will need 1 Spirit of Harmony to purchase a recipe, and you only need one recipe to level to 600. If you do not have a Spirit of Harmony, this is as far as we can level you during the Craft Faire.

We will have a mage port you to the Shrine of Two Moons. Choose one recipe from the Contender's Armor recipes that uses exotic leather (i.e. a leather armor piece, not a mail piece). The reason for this is that exotic leather is much easier to farm than prismatic scales.

It doesn't matter which one because if one of them requires more leathers, it will give you more skill points.

When you have your recipe, return to Silvermoon and tell your Captain or Assistant which recipe you purchased, and you will be given 150 Exotic Leather.
