|Kephas “The Rock”|

His golden hair rests upon his shoulders framing his strong expression. With fiery green eyes burning with the very light within him and a physique as if chiseled out of solid stone. Battle scars tattoo his body. Like badges of honor, he wears them in reminder of the innocents he has sworn to protect.
Kephas is a good soul, a changed soul. Being given a second chance at life has made him a very humble blood elf. He desires peace and deals kindly with people. His lives to serve and protect the innocent. To help people in any way he can.
“If war is hell, then I guess you could say that I grew up there. Among the countless tragedies of the Second War was the loss of my parents. So at a very young age I was taken to be trained as a soldier of Quel’Thalas. The first life I ever took was that of a Goblin. He looked down at me before he fell over dead. And so I grew up on the battlefield with sword in hand. Most of my people may have been addicted to the magics, but not I. No, I was blood drunk. So much of my early years are a blur, but what I do remember is a lot of blood, a lot of death, and even more hate.”
“But it was during the Third War when it would be my life on the line. The army of endless Scourge led by the one who calls himself a king invaded our home. It seemed all hope was lost. I foolishly rushed into battle without hesitation. It wasn’t long before I was overwhelmed. I lay on the battlefield in the throws of death. But it would not claim me.”
“I awoke in a camp belonging to a tribe of Tauren. I discovered that I had been unconscious for days. At some point in time a fleeing Tauren merchant found me and brought me back to his tribe where I had been nursed back to health. They fed me, made me feel welcome, and even allowed me to live among them. They told me about the Sunwell and what happened to my people. At first, I was angry and eager to go fight, but too wounded to do so. The Tauren were patient with me even though I didn’t deserve it. They showed me kindness and even taught me the way of the Hunt. I had never known such peace among a race of people. And before long, I would know that peace in my own heart. The bloodthirst that controlled me for so long had been quenched permanently. I became a resident of Thunder Bluff and have lived there since then. They gave me a new name. I am now known as Kephas which means ‘rock.”
“Unfortunately, war never changes. The time had come for me to return to the battlefield, but now, it would be in the name of peace and justice. I returned to my people, pledged my allegiance to the Blood Elves and the Horde. I joined the Order of the Blood Knights and was infused with the power of the Light. Now, I have sworn to defend the innocent no matter where they are from.”
The Real Life
In the real world my name is Dustin. I’ve been playing video games as long as I can remember. I started playing WoW around Christmas of 2006 after witnessing the South Park episode that we all love.
I am a licensed minister and work voluntarily as a teacher and counselor to youth and young adults. I am also a certified desktop publisher specializing in video editing. Lastly, I am a student of Kung Fu and overall fan of martial arts and combat.
Due to a birth defect I was born blind. During my infancy the doctors discovered that I was able to see out of my right eye and since then my eye has improved despite the fact that the doctors said that I would never be able to see. I am extremely thankful for the sight that I have.
