Low Security space is a no man's land where pirates roam free without fear of CONCORD.  It's a great place for those who are looking for smaller scale PVP than is usually available in 0.0 space. There are also high level missions, mining and exploration. These can be much more lucrative than anything you may be able to do in high-sec, but that reward is weighed against the risk of being blown up if you are not careful.

Welcome to AIE EVE

Hello and Welcome to AIE EVE, otherwise known as AIE In SPAAAAAAAAAAACE!

If you clicked the link and came here that means that you need some information because if you didn’t know this you aren’t in our corp yet. First thing is first….a bit of information about EVE and AIEU

EVE is a very different game from any other MMO that you have ever played. It has an adult slant to it, scamming is perfectly ok within the terms of service and it is a pvp centric game all the way through. Do not let that scare you off though! You are with AIE in space now so everything will be just fine. That being said though, AIE in EVE is more lax than any other branch of our great community so far as language and adult themes go, so be ready for this and maybe keep children who can read your text chat away from the screen while playing.

Ground Rules

1. EVE Can be a nasty place but keep the racism, political insults, and things like that out of it, even in jest. We are all adults in EVE Online but we still represent the AIE Community as a whole here.

2. Real Money Trading of any kind is an offence that can get you permanently banned from the corp. RMT is the act of buying ISK with real money from any other source other than CCP. The PLEX available from CCP's website directly does not count as RMT.

A tale of two corps

If you are here it is probable that you have been accepted by our recruitment officers and read all the stuff above…so now you need a corp to join…but wait! We have 2! Here are brief descriptions of what they are and what they offer:

Corp Name: Alea Iacta Est Universal

Corp Ticker: AIEU

AIEU is a Null Sec 0.0 corp in the massive player run alliance TEST Alliance Please Ignore. There you will find massive, possibly historic battles with thousands of ships, politics between Test and other player run entities in EVE, espionage, and plenty of higher end ISK opportunities. Being part of an alliance in 0.0 space is in many ways safer than some other parts of space due to the large number of people around you.

Corp Name: Taxillus Transstellar

Corp Ticker: TAXIL

TAXIL is a High security/ low security corp for basically the rest of eve. In high-sec you can run missions (quests) or maybe some mining and exploration, all with the backup of an NPC entity known as CONCORD who will appear out of nowhere and blow up anyone who shoots you without just cause. Low Security space is a no man's land where pirates roam free without fear of CONCORD. It's a great place for those who are looking for smaller scale PVP than is usually available in 0.0 space. There are also high level missions, mining and exploration. These can be much more lucrative than anything you may be able to do in high-sec, but that reward is weighed against the risk of being blown up if you are not careful

How do I get IN though?

1. Log into the game

2. On the left side of your screen is a bar (Called the NeoCom). Mouse over the icons until you find “People and Places”

3. In the box that pops up, use the search bar with the drop down box to its left set to “ANY” and search for “Alea Iacta Est Universal” (should have a black cog on a red background for a symbol) or “Taxillus Transstellar”(Should have a bird with 2 swords and a red stripe behind it as a symbol) depending on which description struck your fancy.

4. Once the search results box pops up, right click on the symbol for the corp and the click the first item in the menu, “Show info”.

5. At the bottom of the Show Info box that pops up there is an “Apply To Join” button. You will be accepted into the in game corp shortly thereafter. Watch your in game EVE Mail as the game will send you an eve mail once you have been accepted. A note: If you get bored with highsec or maybe 0.0 space isn’t for you simply contact an officer in game and we can get you moved from AIEU to Taxillus or vice versa no problem…once you are in you are in!

So what do I do next?

Well first as soon as you are in corp….Join the chat channel aie_provo It is our greenwall our cross corp chat channel so you can talk to all of AIE In Space.

After that you need to join up with our private aieu forums . https://portal.aie-guild.org/forums/index.php just register there and you will be approved shortly there after. This is where we put all of our announcements and such for both corps so keep a close watch on it.,
