== Who is NitF? ==

NitF! is a 10-man raiding group in AIE. We strive for a low stress, drama-free raiding experience. The group was formed in January 2009 to tackle the available raids in Northrend. Our team was formed from the NitF! heroic 5-man group along with some old and new friends (long live "Sweep the Leg"). We strive to be on the cutting edge of raid progression without the time commitment of hard-core raiding guilds.

During the initial push into Northrend by the combined forces of Azeroth; we successfully brought Kel'Thuzad to his knees, destroyed all the black dragonflight eggs, and saved magic from the corrupt betrayer, Malygos. Next, we stormed Ulduar, freed the ancient keepers, and successfully rid Azeroth of the insane God of Death, Yogg Saron. Then, with most of Northrend secure; we gathered at the newly constructed Argent Tourney grounds. Here we honed our skills in epic combat, and got ready for the final push into Icecrown Citadeal.

After successful training we took down all the vile Lich King Arthas; and came away with some new friends, fond memories, and a might Frostwym drake. Having returned home victorious, we find out world has been shattered by the dreaded Deathwing. Our new focus will be riding the world of new elemental threats, bringing down the Twilight Hammer, and putting an end to the fallen Aspect of Earth.
== RAIDING ATTENDANCE PERCENTAGE ==
'''

Not in the Face! will be incorporating the R.A.P.™ or Raiding Attendance Percentage™ system to encourage attendance and to manage the choices for those that are requested to standby for the evening. The purpose of this system is to maximize our efficiency by encouraging regular attendance but also to allow for people to miss occasional days without seriously hampering the progress of the raid. It also eliminates the differentiation of 'main' and 'fill-in' members. All members on the roster are on 'mains'.

Everyone in the raid will have their own percentage of raid attendance based off of the amount of days they were eligible to raid. These percentages are viewable above. At this time there are no benefits to maintaining a high percentage other than the prestige associated with being a dedicated member of the raid. The system is also unique in that it allows for flexibility in rewarding those that are placed on standby as well as penalize those who cancel last minute, creating a strain on finding replacements 10 minutes before raid time.

'''
== Standby Status ==
'''

Standbys will be determined on a day by day basis. If it is determined that as a result of an overfull roster, officers may relegate certain individuals to be placed on standby status. It is fully expected that those who are placed on standby, are available to be contacted by the raid leader in the event that the person is needed to fill in. If the standby is not able to fill in when called, it will count as a day missed. Whether or not the standby is called in, they will receive credit for not only the day raided, but an extra day as compensation, thereby earning a day and a improving their Raiding Attendance Percentage™ as a result. This also applies to those that choose to voluntarily sit out due to an overfull roster for the day. Please note that standbys are only standbys for the day, not the lockout period. Meaning that if you miss day 1, attendance standards are expected for day 2.

'''If no suitable volunteers wish to standby then the officers will relegate individuals to standby status by order of attendance percentage, first considering those with the lowest Raiding Attendance Percentage™.''' This decision may be mitigated by the current needs of the raid for the evening and is subject to officer discretion.

'''
== Declines ==
'''

We all have lives outside of raid time. This is something that NitF! has always encouraged by capping our raid days to 2 nights a week. As such it is acceptable to decline for raids due to personal reasons from time to time. Days missed count as such. A day missed. Notice is always preffered and those that decline with less than 24 hours to raid start will be penalized as if they had missed 2 days of raid. This may sounds harsh at first but easily nullifiable by being placed on standby for a night.

'''
== Summary ==
'''

So in conclusion percentage points function as follows:

Attended - 1 Day Credit<br>
Standby - 2 Days Credit<br>
Standby and absent if called - 1 Day Debit<br>
Declined - 1 Day Debit<br>
Declined within 24 hours of Raid - 2 Days Debit<br>

All of these changes are new but I hope you find them to be the fairest way to reward attendance and minimize the impact that poor attendance has on the progression and efficiency of the raid as a whole. This system serves to maximize the experience of those that attend with rewards of successful raiding by maintaining a steady and regular roster.

== RAIDING ATTENDANCE PERCENTAGE ==

'''
== Standby Status ==

'''
== Declines ==
'''

We all have lives outside of raid time. This is something that NitF! has always encouraged by capping our raid days to 2 nights a week. As such it is acceptable to deline for raids due to personal reasons from time to time. Days missed count as such. A day missed. Notice is always preffered and those that decline with less than 24 hours to raid start will be penalized as if they had missed 2 days of raid. This may sounds harsh at first but easily nullifiable by being placed on standby for a night.

This system serves to maximize the experience of those that attend with rewards of successful raiding.

== Who is NitF? ==

NitF! is a 10-man raiding group in AIE.

Now, with the combined forces of the Ashen Verdict, we have burst open the doors of Icecrown Citadel; and are working our way through this vile den of scum and villainry. we will not stop until the Lich King has fallen, and Azeroth is free from his vile Scourge.
=== Phat Loots ===

For ICC we will be using the Suicide Kings (SK) System we implemented in Naxx25 for Accidental Achievers. For VoA we will be using SK for PvE gear, and we will use roll-offs on PvP gear.

[http://www.wowwiki.com/Suicide_Kings Suicide Kings Wiki]

'''TEH LIST'''

There are actually 2 lists. Main and Secondary.

Main list is for your main spec. Top on the list gets the item if they want it, then are 'suicided' down to the bottom of the list.

If no one bids on the item, then it will be passed on to the Secondary List.

Secondary works the same except that those designated to be off specs (heal/dps, tank/dps, etc) will get priority over those who are not designated off-specs. Please consult with your role leads if you are unsure of whether or not you have a designated off-spec.

BIDDING

If an item drops that you would like to obtain, you will whisper the loot master "bid" for main and /roll 1 for secondary.

TEH LIST will not reset from week to week and will remain as such to ensure the maximum amount of fairness is in effect. If you miss a week, chances are you will be near the top of the list.

ALTS and LOOT

Alternate sub-ins that are not currently on TEH LIST, will be added to the bottom. You will still be able to get loot if no one above you wants it and your spot is saved for future runs.

TIER TOKENS

It is very important to equally distribute tier tokens for the ilvl 264 tier pieces. As such we will be rotating the distribution of these tokens to one per raider, then two per, three per, etc.

PRIMORDIAL SARONITE

All primordial saronite drops will be put into the raid bank. Once our stockpiles reach 5 saronites, they will be available for bidding for '''crafting purposes only''' as per the normal bidding procedures. They will only be available to those that have all the other materials (eternals, titansteel, extra saronite, etc) to make the item '''on hand'''.

SUICIDE KINGS ADDON

Below is the link to the mod that the Loot Master will be using to keep up with this. Everyone can install the mod and keep track of their position on TEH lists.
== How does NitF!25 categorize its members? ==

Nitf!25 has two categories of members: Raiding Members and Alternates (Alts).

In order to be considered an Raiding Member, a) one must be level 80, b) be an NitF!25 member, c)be a very skilled player

== How do non members apply for membership to nitF!25? ==

Deliver 50 gnome hides, and 25 Crusader Orbs to the raid leader.....JK, lol. Membership is by invitation after the group has had several opportunities to run with an individual. One may post to the thread on the AIE raiding board or whisper the Raid Manager/Leader to be considered for an open spot in an upcoming raid. Kindly be aware that the Nitf!25 group rarely has open raid or membership spots. Invitations may therefore be infrequent.

=== Phat Loots ===

For ICC we will be using the Suicide Kings (SK) System we implemented in Naxx25 for Accidental Achievers. For VoA we will be using SK for PvE gear, and we will use roll-offs on PvP gear.

=== Phat Loots ===

For ICC we will be using the Suicide Kings (SK) System we implemented in Naxx25 for Accidental Achievers. For VoA we will be using SK for PvE gear, and we will use roll-offs on PvP gear.

BIDDING

If an item drops that you would like to obtain, you will whisper the loot master "bid" for main and /roll 1 for off spec.

Below is the link to the mod that Franky will be using to keep up with this. Everyone can install the mod and keep track of their position on TEH lists.
'''From Franky:''' ''"Thanks Thrakan great post. I just wanted to add if no one bids on bop items I am going to de them, boe's are going to serv for now until we figure out what we want to do with them.
''
''Just to recap more for myself then anything, we are going with 2 list main and off spec. Whisper bid for main and /roll 1 for off spec. Actually the /roll can be anything really it just lets me know you are interested in the item as off spec could really be /roll 10000000 hehe.''

''Again, for those that are interested in the mod you can sync your list with me at anytime. With 2 lists though I will leave the main spec list up for sync, if you want to sync the off spec plz let me know at a break and we can sort that out. I also believe there is a way to whisper me to find out your place on the list without the mod I will have to check the / commands though. Monday night I will post a new thread in the forums with the sk list and update it Monday after each weeks raid."
=== Phat Loots ===

For ICC we will be using the Suicide Kings (SK) System we implemented in Naxx25 for Accidental Achievers. For VoA we will be using SK for PvE gear, and we will use roll-offs on PvP gear.

'''TEH LIST'''

There are actually 2 lists. Main and Secondary.

Main list is for your main spec. Top on the list gets the item if they want it, then are 'suicided' down to the bottom of the list.

Secondary works the same except that those designated to be off specs (heal/dps, tank/dps, etc) will get priority over those who are not designated off-specs. Please consult with your role leads if you are unsure of whether or not you have a designated off-spec.

If an item drops that you would like to obtain, you will whisper the loot master "bid" for main and /roll 1 for off spec.

Loot master will then check TEH LIST and the bidder highest on said list receives the item. If no one on-spec bids, then the off-spec bidders will be considered.

TEH LIST will not reset from week to week and will remain as such to ensure the maximum amount of fairness is in effect. If you miss a week, chances are you will be near the top of the list.

**Alternate sub-ins that are not currently on TEH LIST, will be added to the bottom. You will still be able to get loot if no one above you wants it and your spot is saved for future runs.

''

For an on-going discussion of this system, and some answers to FAQ about, please visit the Forum post:

Below is the link to the mod that Franky will be using to keep up with this. Everyone can install the mod and keep track of their position on TEH lists.
The goal of the AIE Instance School is to:<br>
Provide guildies with the knowledge and experience that allows them and their party members to have fun in instances.

'''Attendees will learn:'''
*What an instance is
*What a party is
*What a raid is
*What a healer is
*What a tank is
*What dps is
*What aggro is
*What classes can heal
*What classes can tank
*What classes can dps
*Which classes can have multiple roles
*How to find a group
*What a summoning stone is
*How to handle a jerk
*What to do if you die
*What loot is
*What BOE and BOP are
*When to Need, Greed, or Disenchant
*That there are different ways to handle loot
*What addons will be expected in other instance school classes
*Etiquette for contacting instructors
*How to sign up for a class
<br>
'''Optional additional topics:'''<br>
*How to get feedback on your new 80's specs and gear (things like elitist jerks)
*Where to research instances so you're not going in blind

'''Terminology:'''
*mob:
*pat: Short for 'patrol'; a wandering hostile ''NPC'' enemy. Any party member may announce 'pat' to alert the other party members that an enemy or enemies are approaching so the tank can prepare to grab its aggro before anyone else does
*aggro: The attraction of an enemy's attention or focus. This can happen a number of ways, a couple of common ones are:
: 1 - When an unengaged hostile enemy enters within a certain range of a player, that enemy will attack a player. This range varies based on the target's level.
: 2 - When a player performs an offensive action (such as an attack or spellcast) on an unengaged target, that target will normally attack that player.
*threat: Threat is basically a measure of how much attention an NPC enemy is paying to you. This can be manipulated in various ways including the following:
: Directly attacking an enemy in melee range. This generates the most threat outside of spells and abilities.
: Directly attacking an enemy at a distance (ranged attacks and spells) - this causes the second most threat outside of spells and abilities.
: Healing a target that has threat on an enemy. This will earn the healer some threat as well. In almost all scenarios, healing does not cause enough threat to pull aggro from a tank that has control of an enemy, but it should be
::noted that healing and casting helpful spells does in fact generate threat.
*NPC: Non-Player Character; these can be friendly (Green text name), neutral (Yellow text name, in different shades) or hostile (Red text name). Common NPCs include innkeepers, auctioneers, bankers, quest givers, etc.

=== Instance 102 ===
'''Class size:''' 2 (or 3) students, each of a different role<br>
'''Level requirement:''' ???<br>
'''Instructors:''' 2 (or 3). The two main instructors will be of the same role, and have experience in the same spec, as each of the two main students. The fifth spot is for an instructor or student who is learning by observing or assisting. The two main instructors may play their main specs to demonstrate, but will mostly play offspec to teach. Students learn by doing.<br>
'''Time:''' 1-1.5 hours<br>
'''Location:''' an instance<br>

'''Students will learn:'''
*What aggro is and who is responsible for the tank keeping it (hint: every party member is equally responsible)
*Where the tank should be
*Where the healer should be
*Where casters should be
*Where melee should be
*How to tell you're standing in stupid
*What crowd control is
*What raid icons are and their standard meanings

'''Tanks will learn:'''
*Techniques for building threat and maintaining aggro
*Where to stand
*How to pull
*How to care for your healer
*How to communicate with the group
*What kinds of crowd control are available, what kinds of mobs they are effective on, and when to ask for them (please don't let that caster in the corner kill your healer)
*When to mark

'''DPS and Healers will learn:'''
*What talents your class has for reducing threat
*What talents your class has for crowd control
*How to avoid the special ways your class accidentally wipes a group (pets taking the long way, stealth being seen through by dogs, etc)
*When it's okay to start healing or dps'ing
*When AOE is a bad idea

== Instructor Tips ==
'''Starting class:''' <br>
Plan to be early in order to be as on time as possible. Expect that someone will arrive late. Expect technical problems. <br>
<br>
While waiting for people who are late or are resolving technical issues, ask those who are present to do something that will help you teach them. This way their time is not being wasted by the person who is late. These things can include talking to each other to come up with questions, reading over the class description for reminders of what will be covered, bookmarking and/or watching some videos that will inspire questions now and help reinforce points later--these are just some examples, please share additional ideas.<br>
<br>
Once everyone is there, briefly introduce yourself including your role and your experience. Briefly describe what the class will cover. Aim for a max of 5 minutes. The class is not about you :D<br>
<br>
Ask the students to introduce themselves. For efficiency of time, this will probably work best if you cue each person, or have them roll to determine introduction order. Ask them to share their name, class, and what they want to make sure the class covers. Write that down, and when you cover it, ask that person specifically if they feel their question has been answered.<br>
<br>
'''Ask questions:''' <br>
Ask questions. Wait for answers. Be silent and count to 30 while you wait. What feels like forever of waiting to you is a millisecond to someone who is trying to phrase a question, or to someone whose lag only just got your question to them.<br>
<br>
'''Do stuff:''' <br>
At least every 5 minutes, stop for questions, ask for feedback from the students, demonstrate something, or ask students to demonstrate something. Ask students to type '1' if they feel confident about something you just explained, and '2' if they aren't ready to move on.<br>
<br>
'''Good questions to ask:''' <br>
*How did that feel? <br>
*What went well? <br>
*What would you like to do better next time? <br>
<br>
'''Take a break:''' <br>
After about 1/2 hour, consider taking a break. Specify what server time to return by. Let parents take care of their kids, get yourself a fresh glass of water, etc.

<u>'''For Practice'''</u><br>
Not sure where to put this, but here is a screenshot of where to go to find practice mobs. They are yellow and flow like water, up to 5 at a time. (Quick note: these are the Mobs that become the red mobs, Converted Heroes, in The Conflagration. - Cyrashin)

[[File:Screenshot012310164506.jpg|800px]]

Additionally, here's a quick video clip of the mobs in action so you can see what to expect:

http://yfrog.us/78icecrownthevalleyoffallz

I'm just going to put this here since Deci has the map up. If you go to the south in the Conflagration, by the wall, there
are large amounts of elite mobs that could possibly be used in simulations. It is possible to pull them one at a time although it may
require some clearing in a spot for the group. The Mobs are called Skeletal Reavers.

== How does AA categorize its members? ==

AA has two categories of members: Raiding Members and Alternates (Alts).

In order to be considered an Raiding Member, a) one must be level 80, b) be an AA member, and c)

All other AA members are considered Alts.

== How do non members apply for membership to AA? ==

Membership is by invitation after the group has had several opportunities to run with an individual. One may post to the thread on the AIE raiding board or whisper the Raid Manager/Leader to be considered for an open spot in an upcoming raid. Kindly be aware that the AA group rarly has open raid or membership spots. Invitations may therefore be infrequent.

== Who are the current Members of AA? ==
