These are the add-ons that you are expected to use in lieu of adding to the green wall of text that we know as Guild Chat.

=== aieCallToArms ===

Due to the size of the guild, using guild chat to look for groups or find members to fill out a group you have can be very frustrating. We recommend the use of [[aieCallToArms]] (aka aieCTA) to handle LFG and LFM requests. Even if you do not run the add-on, you can join the aieLFG channel in game and see group and availability announcements.

We used to use dbCraft for sharing information about our crafting skills, however development stopped after the introduction of WotLK. We are now running GuildCraft as a trial replacement.

If you like instances or raiding, this add-on is critical. A good threat meter helps you keep aggro where it needs to be and keeps wipes to a minimum. It can also improve your DPS, read [[Threshold Braking for WoW]] for an explanation why.

Whenever anyone asks something like , “what’s a good price for the Silky Frobnitz of the Leopard in the Auction House?” in guild chat, you have seen where this add-on can help. It’s a utility for recording statistics on prices in the Auction House and making recommendations on what to ask for items that you wish to sell. It also has several other related utilities that you can install individually, or together from a single distribution.

Once you install the mod, here's how you set it up.

Identity stores two parameters about your character: Your "main" name. and your "Nick" name. The difference between them is as follows

Whatever you set "Main" to will be what shows up in gchat
Whatever you set "Nick" to will show up in Party Chat (and I believe raid chat as well, though you may have to enable it)
