In an effort to promote PvP amongst the members of the Alea Iacta Est guild, the Centurions are organizing a semi-regular event named the Arathi Basin Invitational. The event serves as a way to educate members of the larger guild about the Player vs. Player aspect of World of Warcraft.

Addon Recommendations: It is highly recommended that participants in the Arathi Basin Invitational use the following addon. PvPscribe v. 0.2.0 This addon was developed by Stigg and is in alpha stage.

Prizes are given out to guild members that distinguish themselves in the event.

Next scheduled event: The event will run for one full week from 12:01AM (server time) on the 18th, until 12:00 midnight the 24th of June. The week of battle will end with a bang during the Call to Arms: Arathi Basin which will provide additional honor gains!

1. The Arathi Basin Invitational is open to all members of Alea Iacta Est that meet the level requirement for the Arathi Basin Battleground.

2. The event will begin at 12:01 AM (server time) June 18th and concludes at 11:59 PM June the 24th.

3. Participants need to register by sending an e-mail to: aie-ab-invitational@jabberwock.org
Registrants (individual and teams) will be listed on the AIE Wiki page once their registration is received and confirmed. (Registrants still need to verify that they have been added to the Wiki player list.)

4. The use of Stigg’s PvPScribe addon is is HIGHLY encouraged as it will facilitate player rewards and ranking. (Notes on downloading and installing the Addon can be found at: https://www.petrichor.us/tech:software ).

Please note that due to the game updates your addon mileage may vary.

5. At the end of the event all participating players are responsible for sending their scores to the judging committee (whether it be by the use of the PvPScribe addon or sending screencaps of their Battleground results).

Data should be sent to: aie-ab-invitational@jabberwock.org with the subject line AIE Arathi Basin Results and must be submitted no later than 12:00 pm (EST), Wednesday, June 27.

6. Gear furnished to those who participate (armor kits, potions, water, etc.) is on a first come, first serve basis and will be furnished until supplies last.

7. Centurions and their immediate family members can not participate in any rewards or prizes. Centurions can serve as a member of a team.

8. Players can fight individually or in teams (minimum 2 players per team). Please note that players on teams are not eligible for individual player awards.

9. Centurions will try their very best to try and match awards and prizes to player’s levels and classes. If no appropriate prize can be found in the award pool, a cash equivalent may be furnished.
